Gregar Typho, often referred to as Captain Typho, is a character from the Star Wars Prequels era. He is a member of the Naboo Royal Guard and serves as head of security for Padmé Amidala.
Typho first appears in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. He succeeds Captain Quarsh Panaka in his role, becoming a constant presence at Padmé's side following an assassination attempt.
He continues to serve Padmé throughout the Clone Wars, appearing in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Despite his best efforts, he is ultimately unsuccessful in preventing the attempt on Padmé's life in Revenge of the Sith where she is almost assassinated. Typho is also responsible for suggesting Padmé use a decoy ship when traveling, a choice that inadvertently leads to her death on Mustafar.
